-Rotor Mechanism and Cutting Components
The processing mechanism consists of a rotor housing containing a main shaft equipped with 18 guide plates and 2 end plates, which are secured by keys. The machine features 36 vertical-flex ring hammers distributed across 4 secondary shafts, providing 2 rings per main guide plate. When the rotor spins, centrifugal force drives these rings into an outward position. When feed material is introduced, the rings dynamically retract between the rotor plates to absorb impact, returning to their outward position once the material passes. The drive torque is transferred smoothly to the shredder via a hydraulic coupling to handle shock loads effectively.

-Material Applications and Feed Capabilities
The Shredder Type S1500 is engineered to process light waste materials, including:
Telecommunication equipment scrap
Electronic waste and WEEE
Sheet metal, turnings, and general metal scrap
Aluminum parts

The maximum dimensions for input material are approximately 1000 mm in length, or a maximum surface area of 600 x 600 mm for sheet metal with a thickness of 2 mm. These feed dimensions apply when the machine is operated with screen grates measuring 40 x 105 mm or 25 x 105 mm. Using smaller screen sizes requires a reduction in feed volume to prevent equipment overload.

-Maintenance and Accessibility Features
The shredder housing is split into an upper and lower section connected by standard bolt configurations. The upper section and the attached feed hopper open via hydraulic cylinders, allowing direct access to the rotor for maintenance and inspections. The lower housing contains the impact bars and supports two screen holders, which contain 2 and 3 screen segments respectively. Both screen holders are independently operated by hydraulic cylinders to facilitate quick access and grate changes.
